The future of mental health - our predictions for 2023

Just like physical health, mental health can vary from person to person and can change over time. Some people may have good mental health, meaning that they feel happy, fulfilled, and able to cope with the challenges of everyday life. Others may have poor mental health, which can lead to feelings of sadness, anxiety, or distress. It's important to recognize that mental health is an important part of overall well-being and that everyone should be aware of and take care of their mental health.

But how will people take care of their mental health in the future? We have been the trailblazers of mental health innovation since we formed the team in 2016. I have more than 15 years of experience in the field of child psychology.

Here are our thoughts on the future of mental health:

  • The future of mental health is likely to involve a continued focus on early intervention and prevention, as well as the development of new and more effective treatments.

  • There is also likely to be a greater emphasis on integrating mental health care into primary care settings, such as doctors' offices and clinics, to make it more accessible and convenient for people to seek help.

  • Additionally, the use of technology is likely to continue to expand, making it easier for people to access mental health services, regardless of where they live.

  • A greater recognition of the importance of mental health and a continued effort to improve the availability and effectiveness of mental health services.

  • A greater focus on addressing the social and environmental factors that can impact mental health, such as poverty, discrimination, and inequality.

Overall, the future of mental health is likely to involve a more holistic and integrated approach to addressing the mental health needs of individuals and communities.

Mental health is an essential part of overall health and well-being. Just like physical health, mental health is a critical aspect of our lives and can greatly affect our ability to function and thrive. When a person has good mental health, they are better able to manage stress, make positive choices, and cope with the challenges of everyday life. On the other hand, when a person has poor mental health, it can impact their ability to function and lead to physical health problems. Therefore, it's important to prioritize mental health and take steps to maintain and improve it. Technology will pave the way.

Mental health apps can be beneficial for some people, as they can provide access to mental health resources and support and be more convenient and accessible than traditional forms of mental health treatment. These apps can offer a variety of different features, such as self-help tools, educational materials, and communication with mental health professionals. However, it's important to note that not all mental health apps are created equal, and some may be of lower quality or not provide the desired benefits. It's also important to remember that mental health apps are not a substitute for professional mental health treatment, and should not be used as a replacement for therapy or medication.

We recommend using the Android or iOS version of the Triumfland Saga mobile game for mental health prevention and promotion for children aged 7-12. This wellness game can be used to help children learn and practice healthy habits and skills related to mental health, such as stress management, problem-solving, or emotion regulation. Triumfland Saga has been specifically designed to support mental health and well-being and is tailored to the individual needs and preferences of users, and incorporates a range of different features, such as educational materials, self-help tips and tricks, and feedback and rewards. Triumfland Saga can be used as a standalone support for kids or as part of a broader mental health treatment plan. The goal of the game is to make mental health support more engaging, enjoyable, and accessible for children.
